CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting

Model pictured is not an actual patient.

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical procedure that freezes fat deposits in disproportionate areas of the body. The procedure is an alternate to liposuction, but if your aesthetic goals are not met with CoolSculpting, we may need to do liposuction as well to achieve your contour goals.

What should I expect during the consultation?

The first step in the process is a consultation with our office. During your consultation, you will meet with the nurse coordinator and Dr. Surek to discuss your medical history. You will need to stand in front of a full-length mirror to discuss your goals and allow Dr. Surek to plan for your procedure.

How is the surgery performed?

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical procedure and is performed in the office, with no anesthesia necessary. For the procedure, the CoolSculpting applicator is placed on the skin, at the location of the targeted fat deposits. The procedure can take up to two to three hours, so you will want to bring something to read or other kinds of entertainment.
