What should I expect during the consultation?

The first step in the process is a consultation with our office. During your consultation, you will meet with the nurse coordinator and Dr. Surek to discuss your medical history. You will need to stand in front of a full-length mirror to discuss your goals and allow Dr. Surek to plan for your procedure.

If you decide to schedule the surgery, you will need to schedule a preoperative appointment to receive prescriptions, schedule follow-up visits, review your surgical consent, and be photographed for your medical record. Patients may not use tobacco for at least two months before surgery.

How is the surgery performed?

Thigh lift surgery performed while the patient is under full anesthesia in an accredited operating facility. The surgery usually lasts between two and three hours, depending on the amount of skin being removed.
